• Chemical Analyses Act 1898

Abstract

An Act that perform the analysis of chemicals and other substances by the State of Mauritius.
Under section 2 of this Act, gives the Government Chemist the right to perform chemical analyses requires by the State.
Under section 3, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health may also appoint other competent persons for chemical analyses. Section 4 and 5 of the Act deal with the fees, taxation and recovery of analyst’s fees respectively.
