Regional harmonization of phytosanitary legislations
The phytosanitary legislations concern phytosanitary control, the registration and the quality control of phytopharmaceutical products.
This harmonization will allow :
on the one hand, to have a better control of the introduction and spreading of harmful organisms in the region, as a result of a coordinated action,
on the other hand, to facilitate trade between IOC member states due to the adoption of common standards an practices in conformity with international conventions.
